This product is brought to you by the guys who made the emperor’s new clothes. Variety, beauty, light weight, selection…yes, yes, yes & yes. But it is nothing but a piece of artistically printed vinyl. And it doesn’t even cover the edges well. I thought there would be more to it for the price. By the time it was “imported” from Canada, this $2.00 piece of plastic was billed at $26.65 plus the “foreign transaction fee” of $.79. I love the pattern, it would have made the phone my own. But this little rectangle of art work offers no protection in a pocket or purse. Buy the $7 rubber skin, it’s not pretty, but it does a good job keeping your valuable phone in good condition.

This product only protects the bak of the Kindle DX. No protection is included for the screen. It is a waste of money.

I bought this skin for my Kindle DX because I was so pleased with the skins I’d bought for my Kindle 2. This one is just as nice, but I would like to put in my vote for a matching front skin like they make for the Kindle 2. So far, this is only a back skin.

I like having the front and back designs just for the aesthetics, I can easily spot which Kindle is mine in the family, and I like keeping the Kindle protected on both sides from damage and fingerprints.

Aside from being a back-only skin, it’s just a nice and easy to apply as the ones for Kindle 2s. I’ve been very pleased with them all around and recommend them highly.

Amazon, if you are listening, please consider a top skin for DXs as well :)

I have the leather case for my Kindle, but I don’t always use it because it adds weight and bulk. This protective skin is perfect; protects from scratches and fingerprints and- if it weren’t for the colorful pattern, it would completely disappear from my notice. Also, it was very easy to get on properly and bubble free. I like it so much, I think I might buy one for my iPod, now.
